It’s a happy coincidence that The Green Turtle Tavern (facebook) is terrapin-themed, as it fits perfectly with Brian’s longstanding interest in painting turtles (tracing back to the Grateful Dead’s Terrapin Station).
Known around town simply as “The Turtle”, it’s a relaxed bar and venue that brings together locals and tourists for outdoor music 7 nights a week…either on the porch or on the stage. Brian was commissioned to paint the murals on the fences, which sets the mood for magical performances.
If it’s a Friday or Saturday evening, you’re likely to find Brian at his easel, up by the band, chatting and painting. (Or if a friend is playing on a school night you might find him up on the porch.) Come say hi!
